From Neighbouring Countries

Kasese is also accessible from neighbouring countries. Visitors travelling from Kenya commonly enter Uganda through the Malaba or Busia border posts before continuing via Kampala. Travellers from Tanzania typically enter through Mutukula. Visitors from the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo can access Kasese through the Mpondwe border, located just a short distance from the town.
